Island Reproductive Services has an active egg donor program. To be eligible for our program, you must be between the ages of 18 and 30. You must be a non-smoker.
Our office performs a careful screening process whereby we evaluate all egg donors. First, we ask that you complete a questionnaire about your personal and family medical history. Then, the next step is to undergo medical, infectious disease, genetic and psychological screening. An eligible egg donor can then be anonymously matched with recipients through our offices.
The treatment cycle itself lasts approximately two weeks and includes monitoring as needed with ultrasound and lab work. The treatment ends with removing your eggs in a simple office procedure under mild sedation. You receive payment at the time of egg retrieval.
This ensures that we take the necessary steps for a healthy retrieval. However, you are always welcome to ask any questions regarding the steps of the procedure.
You can contact our team if you want to become an egg donor. Moreover, we can give you further resources you must review before making a decision. Our team can help you understand the steps and start the process with you. Check out our website or give us a call for more information.
